All are invited to join us for our Annual Spiritual Morning Retreat!
St. Magdalens Military Ministry invites you to a morning of prayer, reflection and appreciation for our military service men and women, veterans past and present and for all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Saturday, October 8th 2022, 8am to 12pm
We begin with Holy Mass at 8am immediately followed by confession for those who wish and a continental breakfast. We will then have opening prayers and a reflection by Deacon Mike Bachynski.
Next we will watch a video presentation on the life of Medal of Honor, Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient, Navy Chaplain Fr. Vincent Capodanno. Declared a Servant of God by the Church, Fr Capodanno the "grunt padre" was killed in action in Vietnam. A cause for his sainthood has been opened.
Finally we will close with silent reflection and prayer in adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
