An Unexpected Journey

Last February I was asked to facilitate a table discussion at a meeting introducing ChristLife. I was given a brief overview of what ChristLife was about, but at the time I had no idea what a powerful impact it could have on a person's life (including my own). After the meeting I was asked to be a facilitator for ChristLife in September. Again, little did I know of the journey I was about to embark upon.

As the facilitators began meeting regularly for training I began to see more and more the potential ChristLife had for introducing people to Jesus Christ in a whole new way and helping us all grow in our walk with Him. As time went by I saw how our exposure to ChristLife was having a profound effect upon all of us. Lives were being changed right there in our training sessions. I began thinking about what will happen when this becomes available to the whole parish. The more I thought about it the more excited I got about what God was doing and what He wanted to do in our parish through this initiative.

In April I had the privilege of attending a national training conference for ChristLife. I was (without words /blown away) by what this ministry was all about and how successful it has been all around the nation. I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Dave Nodar, the leader and founder. I was so very impressed with his character, ability and humility. All the leadership of ChristLife were wonderful, godly and spirit-filled people who truly had a passion for helping people know and grow in Jesus. I left that training changed and excited about how God was going to work in my life at our parish meetings.
