Stewardship Expo

Dear Parish Family,

I want to share with you that next weekend we will have our Stewardship Expo after all Masses in the Parish Center. This event was previously scheduled in the Fall but postponed due to Hurricane Sandy. Our Parish Center which is designated by the Red Cross as an emergency facility was very close to being utilized at that time for our community.

The Stewardship Expo will have displays and information from over thirty ministries. We invite all to come and learn about the good works performed in our parish by a variety of ministries. Information will be available for adult education, increasing one's prayer life, to assisting those in need and many more. I hope this maybe a learning experience for those wanting to help and get involved but do not know how. It will provide an opportunity to come in contact with many of our volunteers. Although we are a large parish of over 3,300 families we are a very close knit parish in many ways. If you are new to our parish family it is a wonderful opportunity to discover the spirit of our ministries and meet your fellow parishioners.

We invite the children of our parish to also come and learn about the many ministries and participate in our Expo contest. Children from 1st through 8th grade can complete a "Ministry Search" and one winner with correct answers will be chosen from each grade. The prize will be a gift certificate to the Ice Cream Parlor in town.

So please, plan to come over next weekend. Share some light refreshments, learn about our ministries and meet many dedicated volunteers. All of our ministries strive to follow our Mission Statement:

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF ST. MAGDALEN DE PAZZI EXISTS TO ECHO JESUS' CALL TO ALL: "COME AND FOLLOW ME."

With Love & Prayers,
Regina
